Eddie is this metalhead guy who loves to rock around, or play with fantasy games like Dungeons and Dragons, or read fantasy novels.. like lord of the rings, Silmarillion, (Tolkien's works), or the gormenghast paperbacks, or so on.. He is often skeptical of other people at first who judge his friends, or if they were enemies with them, but he is really nice and heart warming when you get to meet him. He also has a great sense of humor and sarcasm, so he often jokes to lighten up the conversations.. However he sometimes goes to his group to sometimes talk on a certain topic.. if he's in a venty mood however, most of his rants come around like... the D&D discourse (satanic panic), misconceptions of metal heads, etc. In other ways, he is a rebel, a skeptic, yet he also wants justice and acceptance. More than anything however, he cares and protects his friends, and is willing to help them. The bands that he had listened to was Iron Maiden, Dio, Raven, Judas priest, Metallica, Anthrax, Accept, Megadeth, Motorhead, Mercyful fate, King diamond, slayer, Nasty Savage, and more.. I think due to his room, his top favorites would be Judas priest, Accept, Mercyful fate, Iron maiden, dio, maybe the ones on his battle jacket and his room walls. I had a feeling it shows a lot about him on why he puts them in his room. |
Due to the book 'the Flight of Icarus', I saw how Eddie's backstory was involved, and most of it is that he used to be with his mother and father, from Memphis Tennesee. Eddie mentioned that his mother taught him to love music by its own because every song and its beats are unique as it is. When his mother died when he was six years old, poor boy was staying home eating flat peanut butter and soda for four days. His father pretty much left him alone and for Eds? He really didn't think he could give up for his father, but Uncle Wayne bought him to his trailer house eventually because who is going to take care of him with nutrients? Eventually he was raised more with his uncle, he was somehow very used to his father's absense and abandonment. Even though his father had visited him a few times, he taught him to play guitar, break through houses, start cars on wires without car keys to steal. Even with his friends, or people who knew his dad went on and called him 'junior' which.. Eddie wasn't really delighted on that nickname they give to him as often. (heck Eddie didn't want to be like his father due to him being a schemer), and yet yeah there were times people didn't really like him at all, judging whether it was due to his similarity of his father, or having to be a 'metalhead' because back through the era, there was a lot of 'satanic panic' going around. Mostly spreading rumors about that metalbands are very 'hellish' and supports 'satan' but... it's just deeply misunderstood. And with him? he is pretty misunderstood. However when the book reached its end, his uncle told him 'to hell on what they think!!' which meant... why does it matter on who anyone thinks of him? Wayne told him that being himself in his own heart is all what it matters, and (god somehow this is the sweetest thing I held upon because... poor man, he deserves a lot-). Through the book he had been with his father however.. but due to the scheme failing, Eddie had to clean up. (I won't say spoilers there however). In the end of those things, this was what made Eddie's person strengthen much more. He also realizes a lot too that friends are what matters much more because even if he might've lost someone who is,, (i consider it 'a hookup' that ended wrong because miscommunication) , he realizes his friends would be there for him even in the end of time- (which.. I feel this a lot with me in real life). |
In the book 'Flight of Icarus' Eddie used to work on a hidden bar called 'the hideout' as a barback. He left due to almost trying to get his dream job offical, but due to the scheme he joined, it failed.. However, even when he got introduced by his father with Reefer Rick, he began working with him, getting a deal with him as Rick is the drug supplier, while Eddie starts selling drugs as a drug dealer. It was the only job he might do since he couldn't get work anywhere since people wouldn't hire him- or so he says? |
(Fact 1): He named his campaign club due to one of the marvel comics, it made sense since whenever I searched up 'Hellfire club' its either the marvel comic group, or the historical clubs in the 18th centery. (Fact 2): His closest friends is Veronica Ecker, and they looked similar to eachother as if people thought they were siblings. However, Veronica graduated and went to college on New Jeresey while Eddie is still figuring out on his future life and job. (Fact 3): He always finds Conan the Barbian, Han solo really cool as hell, (Fact 4): (ok sorry this is my headcanon sorry): His interests would go with other types of mythology, including greek mythology, Egypt Mythology, Celtic, and more. (Fact 5): he has practiced Master of Puppets the whole month since after it was released on March 3rd 1986. He played masterfully on March 27th, hours before he was bitten by the Demobats in the upside down. |
